How this platform handles your data

Last updated July 2026

The Platform is internal software built and operated by Industries Capital to run its own real estate investment business. This policy explains what data The Platform accesses, why, and how it's kept.

Gmail access

The Platform connects to a Gmail account via Google's OAuth authorization, with the account holder's explicit consent. It reads:

The Platform does not send email, modify existing messages, or delete anything from the connected inbox. It only reads.

What's stored

Information extracted from email — along with contacts, deal records, documents, notes, and decisions entered directly into The Platform — is stored in a private database operated by Industries Capital. This is The Platform's core function: building a permanent, searchable record of the business's relationships and decisions over time.

How data is used

Stored data is used to:

Some content is sent to third-party AI providers (including Anthropic) for analysis and extraction. These providers process the data to return a result and do not use it to train models on Industries Capital's behalf, per their standard API terms.

Who has access

The Platform is used internally by Industries Capital personnel. It is not sold, shared, or made available to advertisers or unrelated third parties.

Data retention and deletion

Data is retained indefinitely by default, since institutional memory is The Platform's purpose. Account holders can request review, correction, or deletion of specific records, including revoking Gmail access at any time through their Google Account permissions, which immediately stops all further access.

Security

Access to The Platform requires authentication. Data is stored on infrastructure managed by Industries Capital and is not publicly browsable.
